Like any other writings, writing a blog is also a skill to have, and an art to possess. You should always write an alluring texts after forming a basic structure of your copy. You can direct the readers to easy understand the main idea of your post by providing headings, subheadings and clear paragraphs. Only then people will like to share, like, tweet and link to your post, when they can easily skim your post. This will increase your ranking in Google. So, just try to write quality content in your blog posts.

There are many people who think that writing to attract and engage readers and writing for search engine optimization(SEO) purposes are two different goals. But, this isn’t correct at all. Your content should be good and also at right place in the blog, to call it a SEO- friendly post. Using your keywords a large number of times spoils the reading interest. So, you shouldn’t do that.

In this post, I would like to give you some tips on writing SEO friendly blog posts that are both very interesting to read as well as SEO-friendly.

 BASIC WRITING TIP:

IN SHORT, your blog post just has to be a good piece of writing with valuable content for the users a lot of bloggers just begin to write what comes to their mind when creating a new blog post. This may be ok for those who have natural writing talent. May be others need some help. I always suggest you to follow a set of rules:

1.Think some points before you write!

Try to think hard about the central idea of your text.

What do you want to inform your readers or which primary question you want to ask? What’s the use of your text? And what do you want your readers to take action at the end of their reading? Write down the answers to these questions before you begin writing.

2.Write down the structure of your blog post.

You should start your post with a clear structure. Every post should have: •An introduction to the topic, you are writing.

•Body of the article, for explanation.

•A conclusion, that provides some concluding steps.

•Think about what you want to write in all these three sections. You now have a kind of summary of your article.

You can now start your real writing.

3.Use paragraphs:

Using paragraphs in a post is good practice, but you should use paragraphs only where it looks relevant. There should be a reason to start a new paragraph. Every paragraph should have a main subject or a main idea. You should know the main idea of each paragraph. The more the sentences you require to explain the idea, the more paragraphs you need.

4.Use headings:

Headings gives a structure to the entire page, so you should always use headings in you post. They’re not only intended for more readability, but for SEO as well. Headings help Google to grasp the main topics of a long post and therefore can help in your website indexing. If you want people to find what they want in your articles, you should also use subheadings. Subheadings will prove them more helping to discover your page, and clarify the main idea of your article. You must use your keywords in some subheadings.

5.Use some signal words:

Signal words help people to scan through the text and help people to grasp the main idea. You should use signal words like: ‘first of all’; ‘secondly’ and ‘finally’. Also, words like ‘surely’ and ‘indeed’, ‘nevertheless’ give a clear sign to your readers. Readers will easily understand that a conclusion will follow after words like ‘consequently’, ’so’ or ‘for this reason’. Signal words are therefore very important to be included in your text.

6.Proof read before posting:

Before posting your post, let someone else read and approve your post first. Ask him/her whether he understands every part of your post. Correct words and sentences that aren’t placed correctly.

7.Monitor the length of your article:

Make sure your articles have a minimum of 300 words. Google likes long articles, if your article is too long, the users may not like it and find it boring. So try to conclude at around 700 words. And, as a general rule: try to put your search terms in about 1 to 2 percent of your text. So in an article of 700 words, you should include your search terms 7 to 14 times.

8.Link to previous content:

Always provide a link to your previous posts, if you already have some articles posted related to that article. It will make your post stronger as you show some experience on the subject. Next to that, your link structure is important for your indexing in Google search as well. And of course, your reader might be interested in these related posts too. You can also have visits on that articles using you present one.

9.Update content regularly:

Adding actual and functional information to your website regularly. It will give Google the idea that your website is alive. If it’s not a much active website, Google will not crawl it frequently. This might affect the rankings of your website negatively.

Conclusion

The time has ended in which only some SEO tricks were sufficient to get your website a high rank in Google. Nowadays, good content is the king. And good content also returns you more Facebook shares and likes, tweets and return visitors to your website.
